Eureka 5892AVZ Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

This is the worst vacuum cleaner I have ever used! (Purchased April 07)It is too late to take it back, but I will have to take the loss and buy a new one. It's not worth the grief!! The vacuum is much to heavy to be dragging up and down the stairs. The duster thing is constantly swinging around while you are vacuuming and it gets in the way. I tried using the on board tools but the hose wasn't flexible, nor did it stretch and the roller/stair cleaner didn't work at all. It is incredibly loud too! The latest problem is there is no suction what-so-ever. On the hard floors it just blows dirt everywhere, on carpet you think it is working because the spinners are spinning, but when it comes to visible dirt or fuzz it doesn't pick it up at all. I have never been more disappointed!! I have a Dirt Devil broom vac that picks up better then this one! (I will admit the Dirt Devil broom vac breaks the sound barrier, but that's another review) I have noticed that several of the good review on this machine are older, I am wondering if Eureka made changes for the worse on the newest models, or if the unsuspecting users found out later the vacuum is a piece of junk.

Overall, I wouldn't take this vacuum if someone gave it to me for free!! Buyer beware!
