Grounds for approval
Pros
Easy to use and maintain. Produces quality grounds. Has adequate storage capacity.
Cons
Output hopper assumes a positive charge which causes a few grounds to cling to it.

We have long been discontented with our blade grinder because it didn't have the capacity, was messy to use, and really hadn't provided a good pot of coffee. We bought the Jura-Capresso 560 based on many positive reviews and its value pricing. It has met our every expectation. It has a small footprint, is relatively quiet, has a large bean capacity, is easy to maintain, and most importantly, it consistently delivers quality grounds in a minimum amount of time. The upper whole bean storage hopper holds enough beans for 6-8 pots of coffee, while maintaining freshness. There is a minor issue with static cling (a few taps on the hopper dislodges the grounds). This is more than overcome by Capresso's ability to give efficient results. A few reviewers mention that it's noisy. We find that not a problem. If it is, place it on a samll rubber mat or towel to absorb vibration. A few "purists" say it's difficult to clean. Not an issue. Once a week is more than enough. We have a 10 cup Bunn hot water displacement coffeemaker, use French dark roast beans, setting the grinder to the lowest setting on the medium grind range and the timer on 6.
