Water frequently backs up in the filter basket and fails to drain into the carafe regardless of what precautions are taken. This creates a very messy, hot clean-up situation.
The pause and serve feature broke within 4 months due to the poor quality part that was used. To continue to use the coffeemaker, I had to break the part off of the machine.
