Love the espresso maker...
Pros
We can make great cappuccinos and espressos with this unit. Parts are easy to clean.
Cons
Filter clogs, carafe doesn't pour right.

I've had the same bad experiences with the coffee filter basket and carafe as reported by others. We've learned to pour the coffee over the sink... but when company comes over, the coffee goes all over the floor and counter. Worst carafe and messiest coffee maker we've ever used. Because of the filter / mess problems, I wouldn't recommend the unit to anyone.
Love the espresso/cappuccinos I can make with it, though.
Wish the unit had auto-on / auto-off features.
