The screw top for the espresso water tank is well shaped for easy twisting.

broke in the first 2 months!! The pause-and-serve broke in less than 5 uses!!

The pause-and-serve apparatus broke off into the pot of coffee. The plastic lid for the espresso pot broke, leaving a chunk of plastic in the espresso. The stainless steel on the front of the item is actually silver plastic. The overall feel of the item is flimsy and cheap.
