The Bottom Line:
Great product for the money you invest.
I have to say WOOOHOOO! I can't believe I have FINALLY found something that nearly replaces the mop bucket.
I bought the Flip It after seeing it on TV. I have two dogs and an active (read: grubby) eight year old not to mention a husband that works a sometimes dirty job. Mopping is not my household chore of choice!
We have textured vinyl floors and this is a whiz at getting in the cracks and crevices. On first use, I had to use a little more pressure in the high traffic areas. However, now that our floors are regularly cleaned (yes, more than that twice a month mopping I used to do)I hardly ever have to do more that just push it back and forth as directed. I have a fairly large kitchen, utility room and two bathrooms that require two tanks of cleaning solution. This could be because at times I forget to release the solution lever, however, when considering the product and time (yes, your time is worth money) I spent cleaning the floors before--cost is nominal.
The collection tank, I find, needs to be emptied 1/2 way through a tank of solution for optimal results. Not much hassle when you figure how many times you empty a mop bucket and refill before the job is done. I am continually amazed at how dirty the water is and how well it works.
On the flip side...the dry vac works ok. It does a decent job for light dirt....would like to see it have better suction. When flipping, the cord sometimes gets in the way.
All in all, great buy. Everyone in my family likes to use it which is all the better.....it has truly reduced my work load! AND, the floors get cleaned more often!
