Pros You don't worry about burn in because the picture is already bad.
Cons Very poor customer service,they are polite, but they don't actually do anything to...

I own this TV but wish I didn't. The picture shows green on the shadow side of peoples faces along with a thinner red band (false contour) next to it. I have seen more than one of these TVs with the same problem. The problem is worse with contrast settings below 60. Philips ambilight is not worth... Read full review »

Pros Great picture, adequate sound, easy set up.
Cons Quite heavy, slight glare from windows.
Recommended it? Yes

I bought this set just prior to the NFL season and have found it to be a great performer. I am surprised at the other reviews because I have had little issues with the TV. I bought a a 42pf9630a in 2005 through work and received a discount. At the time, I was happy with the price (about 2300) but have battled with the TV ever since.
