The Bottom Line:
This is a great product. It has been perfect for my needs now and I'll be using them in the future.
I am reviewing Post-it Flags.
I can't believe all the products 3M is coming out with. I feel like "What will they think of next?" Certainly my 2 packs of blue flags for under $5.00 were well worth it.
Explain:
I bought these for a specific reason. I am doing a presentation on the book Night. Of course I didn't want to highlight anything. I went to OfficeMax and found these flags. They are perfect.
They come in 11 colors including red, green and yellow. The width is an inch and the length is 1 3/4 inches. In order to understand how they work understand that the color is about 1 inch wide and 1/2 an inch long. The rest of it is the sticky part.
I love a couple of things about these flags. First they come in a sticky flat dispenser so I can put this 3 1/2 by 2 1/4 dispenser right into my book. It isn't so sticky that I can't just peel it off. It leaves no residue nor does it tear the book.
That is true of the sticky part of the flag as well. I can peel it right off; move it around and then throw them away or reuse them though they won't go back into the pad. They come out of the pad easily and one at a time. I have never had 5 flags in my hand and no where to put them.
Perhaps the best part is that the sticky part can be written on! So let's say I am having someone in my discussion group read a particular paragraph I put the flag there and then write "Jane reads this after Hal speaks."
There are 50 flags in each dispenser.
There are so many uses for these. One right off the top of my head will make traveling so much easier. One of our campground books is huge. From now on rather than putting in pieces of paper hold the page which inevitably falls out or dog-earring the pages I'll use these flags.
In summary:
I really do like my Post-it Tape Flags and will be on the look out for even more handy, dandy items by GM. Great product.
