3M Double Sided Tape W Dispenser Permanent 1 2" X 450" Clear

I often use double sided tape to put lightweight pictures or posters on the wall, or for other crafts.  This is a really great double-sided tape.

Scotch 3M Double Sided Permanent Tape is a clear tape that is sticky on both sides.  It is coated with a photo-safe permanent adhesive, and Scotch says this is a no-mess alternative to glue for light-duty attaching and mounting tasks. 

This tape is suitable for glass, acetate, paper, or most any surface.  The packaging does not indicate any surface it should not be used on. 

This tape comes in a handy dispenser that is even refillable.  You get 450 inches of tape, or 12.5 yards, for about $4.69.  Note that this tape has no liner that must be removed, like some other double-sided tapes have.  That means this is very easy to use. 

~ My Experience

Most of my double sided tape use is for attaching papers and artwork to my painted walls.  I tried using Scotch Removable Double Sided Tape, but it didn't stick as well as this. 

Scotch 3M Double Sided Permanent Tape is easy to dispense and cut to the length you need.  It is fairly easy to handle without getting twisted or stuck together. 

Scotch tells us this is safe for color photos, and that has been my experience, as it does not pull color from photos if removed.  This is called "permanent" tape, but you can usually remove it without a problem, just depending on what you've stuck together, of course. 

While I don't scrapbook, this would be perfect tape for that application.  It sticks very securely, and holds even in heat and humidity.  Anything I have attached to my painted walls with this tape has held with no problems.

If you need to stick anything to paper, or pages in a book or notebook, this will easily do the job. 

~ Final Thoughts

I have used a few different brands of double sided tape, but honestly, Scotch 3M Double Sided Permanent Tape is far and away the best.  It is easy to use and sticks securely.  Highly recommended.
