Would not purchase another one of these crock pots.
We received this crock pot as a wedding present in May 2005 after we requested it on our registry. We used it about once every couple of months until this Christmas (December 2008). Keep Looking ..... Not worth the $$$$
I bought this unit because of the name brand and because of it's size. I use my crockpot at least once a week on average, so I was willing to invest in something that would last.
