Does okay on carpets. The hose is too short. Looses suction after only a few uses. There are filters which have to be cleaned or replaced often. Cleaning these filters or trying to empty the small dirt cup creates a cloud of dust. You can also see the dust buildup around the dust cup, it is not sealed well at all.
