I think this is a decent juicer for your needs. When I first turned it on the sound was really loud. However, I got a somewhat good quantity of juice from my fruits. The best fruits to use for this juicer include pears and apples. Warning for those who don't like to waste fruits. This juicer separates a lot of pulp from the juice.
