Pros Better than a microwave, easier to clean than regular oven, built in timer.
Cons Bigger than most microwaves and needs more venting space around it.
Recommended it? Yes

I bought this oven last fall and I love it. The oven on my stove is hard to clean and kills my back. After reading of the dangers of microwave cooking and how microwaves destroy food, I decided to move the microwave to the garage and get a convection oven. I bought mine through Target online. It... Pros OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE
Cons SIZE(But how else would you be able to do rotisserie cooking?)
Recommended it? Yes

I give this oven 5 stars! (Can't believe the previous post of 1 star)
As I'm writing this I have a chicken on the rotisserie getting perfectly crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. YUM!!
I've had this oven for almost a year and have had NO PROBLEMS with it. My family of four use... Read full review »

A good-looking and large counter-top oven that works well

byno_goats Mar 16, 2007

Pros Convenient, good looks, large size, many accessories, bakes well
Cons Door very hard to clean (can't be removed), timer failed within six months
Recommended it? Yes

I bought this oven after reading all the reviews here. I am very satisfied with the baking operation - I have not yet tried the rotisserie. The door does not disconnect for cleaning, and there are cavities at the bottom of the door that collect food particles. That means cleaning the door while it... Read full review »

Cons ITEM DOESN'T WORK. TEMPERATURE WAY OFF, NEVER HEATS TO DESIRED TEMP.
Recommended it? No

WE RETURNED THREE OF THESE OVENS TO THE LOCAL MACY'S AND WAS WILLING TO TRY EVEN ANOTHER ONE AS WE LIKED THE LOOKS AND CAPACITY OF THE OVEN. NONE HEATED TO THE DESIRED TEMPERATURE. Pros Cooks perfectly. 2 racks a HUGE plus!
Cons None
Recommended it? Yes

I read the reviews about low temps and decided to try this unit anyway. I couldn't be happier.
Don't be deterred about the negative reviews. I did use an oven thermometer to check the temps and did find that it showed low. However, since it was the weekend and I knew I could return the unit... Read full review »

temp calibration off a bit

Pros Quiet convection fan. Nice looking unit.
Cons Temp is not what dial says. Door can not be removed for cleaning.
Recommended it? Yes

For those of you who have one of these ovens, I will just let you know that I used a digital thermometer designed to measure the temp of a RC gas engine. The oven maintains a decent average of 350 degrees when the dial is set just before 400. When set at the max of broil, it will maintain a... Read full review »

Don't buy it

Pros Has two racks.
Cons Poor performance, poor reliability,
Recommended it? No

The oven does not regulate temperature except in convection mode. (More than 50F off dial setting.) After 6 months of use, the convection fan started to sound like a lawn mower. The oven heats the room and the sides and top get very hot. The heating is uneven causing some areas to over heat and... Read full review »

Pros Large 2 shelve cooking capacity
Cons Convection fan stopped working on 2 ovens only after a month.
Recommended it? Yes

This is my second oven. The first one the fan stopped working on the convection. Now on this new one its doing the same thing. The fan (convection) only works every now and then but is a great oven other than that. Calling Hamilton Beach in the morning for another replacement oven.

Pros price
Cons very poor quality
Recommended it? No

i bought this oven @ Kohls-one week to the day the fan sounds like someone is sticking a screwdriver in it--the timer is off almost 10 min, and the temp control is way off, plus you can't put a full size cookie sheet in the oven. Read full review »

Does not heat to the max

bybillpr Nov 20, 2007
3 Helpfuls 4 Helpfuls Was this review helpful? Comment
Pros Large capacity
Cons No use to me since it will not heat up my pizza and wings
Recommended it? No

Hello,
Purchased and returned 2 of these. The maximum it would heat up to was 350 degrees (used a seperate oven thermometer). A number of the frozen items from the store require 450 degrees, so this one does not measure up. Read full review »
