A good-looking and large counter-top oven that works well
Pros
Convenient, good looks, large size, many accessories, bakes well
Cons
Door very hard to clean (can't be removed), timer failed within six months
Recommended it?
Yes
I bought this oven after reading all the reviews here. I am very satisfied with the baking operation - I have not yet tried the rotisserie. The door does not disconnect for cleaning, and there are cavities at the bottom of the door that collect food particles. That means cleaning the door while it hangs open on the oven. I liked the removable door on my last oven - I could take that door to the sink for a real washing. After six months of faultless operation of this Hamilton Beach, the timer on the oven failed. Hamilton Beach is sending me a replacement oven, but I had to cut off the plug and send it, along with a check for $12.95 (shipping) to them first. They don't want the rest of the oven. I'm waiting for the replacement oven now. Even after this failure, I would recommend this oven to others, and I use mine often. I want to try the rotisserie - it looks like it should work like the poster above says (crispy chicken . . . m m m m).
