2pacalypse
Pros
Great flow and lyrics written and performed by Tupac Shakur.
Cons
Production on some songs could have been better, however it is an older album.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Good Cd to own, maybe a collectors item.
2pacalypse Now, Tupacs first official album was released in 1991. It may not fit with the trend of music that is flooding the market today, but none the less this can be considered a classic.
This album describes Tupac's rebel side with songs such as "Trapped" and "Souljas Story." It is basically taking aim at the police and cursing the American system for how they treat blacks. However, this album isn't just about bashing police, it comes with songs such as "Brenda's got a Baby," witch is a story about a young girl who has a child and has to cope with it while growing up in a ghetto life style. Other songs like "When my Homies Call" are laid back songs to bump to while hanging out or what not.
If you like this album, Tupac only gets better in his albums to be released. This album proved to be a great start for a great rapper. Other albums recommended if you like 2pacalypse now would be "Doggy Style" by Snoop Dogg and "Thug Life" by Thug Life( group with Tupac, Big Syke, Mopreme and Rated X)
