Just a plain toaster.
Throughout my married life I've had many toasters both 2-slice and 4-slice as the family size changed. Some we owned worked fine but none of them ever worked perfect. You know what I mean, toast that is equally toasted on both sides like you get at restaurants.

A simple, reliable toaster with no extraneous bells and whistles.
My son shares a house with a couple of roommates and, a year or so ago, asked me for a cheap toaster. He doesn't eat toast or bagels often but he did want a toaster in case. Not so Good
It is hard to find a toaster that works well and this toaster is no exception. Contrary to the review below the metal does get hot and you can get burned. Great value toaster
This unit is the same as the Proctor Silex 22608. It cost $9 at the "big orange box" and toasts as well as most toasters and better than some big names like Cuisinart. It's not a beauty. You won't get an oohs and ahhs from visitors, but you will get decent toast without a lot of trade-offs.
