Due to a recent automobile accident and finding out from my insurance company that my car was considered a total loss, I found myself out and about shopping around for a new vehicle. What a great way to start out a new year! Little did I know, this was going to be a trying task with so many selections on the market these days. With these great deals and the way the Torrent looked inside and out and handled itself during the drive, I was sure that purchasing this vehicle was going to get me the biggest bang for my buck.

Under the hood is a standard Vortec 3400 V6 engine that carries 185 horsepower. I myself, am not too into cars but from what I hear, this is a great engine and just so happens to be the same one that was in my previous vehicle and I had a great experience while owning that vehicle. When I purchased my Torrent, I bought the sun and sound package which is equipped with a sunroof and a Pioneer 6-speaker system and amp. Also to include, XM radio with a free three month trial period and option to extend. Power windows, power locks, tilt, standard air bags, cruise control, day time running lights and the rear seating folds down to make more room inside of the vehicle. This automobile is equipped with a roof rack for even the most athletic buyer to be able to bring equipment for outdoor adventures such as, camping, fishing, biking or whatever it is that your into. Also, with the option to buy additional equipment such as, assist steps, remote starter, roof mounted cargo bag, molded hood protector, basically if this SUV is not already equipped with everything you want or need, it will be quick and painless to add it to your package!

After knowing what a wonderful experience that I've encountered while purchasing and owning the Torrent and if your looking for a sleek, athletic, spacious yet affordable automobile than I believe that you should look into purchasing the 2006 Pontiac Torrent.
