Nice Little Economical Car
Pros
economical in terms of car cost and fuel
Cons
small, no AC, no CD player
Recommended it?
Yes
The 2005 Hyundai Accent (4 door sedan, 5-speed) is my 3rd Hyundai. My first Hyundai was a used 1988 Excel which was terrible. For financial reasons, and on my father's advice, I gave Hyundai another try with a new 1999 Accent Hatchback which I loved. The 2005 is my second new car and so far I am pleased with it. The engine is bigger than the 99 so the car goes up hill with more "umph" but it gets slightly worse mileage, but overall it does well, getting around 32-33 mpg. This car has more amenities than the 1999, including power steering and power brakes, plus a clock. But believe it or not, it comes with a tape deck not a CD player! No air conditioning but that's okay with me because I didn't want to pay for it. It is still early but so far I have no complaints about the new car, which I bought in January of 2006.
