What a great truck!!! This is my first diesel motor vehicle I have owned. I drive a company diesel everyday and decided I would try one of my own.
I bought it used with 3500 miles. The SLT has almost every option on it. Heated leather, 6-way power seats, controls on the steering wheel, Bose stereo system with a six cd changer, On-Star, and high idle. The seats are very comfortable, all controls are easily accessible and the rear seat is comfortable.
The 6.6 Duramax is everything I had hoped for. The mileage is averaging 18mpg with only 4000 miles and with winter blend diesel. The Allison transmission is a very fine piece of machinery.
No rattles or wind noise, the outside mirror do vibrate slightly at highway speeds. The stock mirror are a little small for towing large trailers. I had to replace a mirror and replaced both of them with the 2006 GM camper mirror, a very nice replacement.
I am very satisfied...
