The Bottom Line: Aesome truck! it has a lot of capabilities, and you can seat 4 comfortably, the towing capability is wonderful, and lots of standard options.

2005 Gmc Sierra Extended Cab SLT2 4x4 (not to be confused with the z71 option). This truck was purchased for my mom, and being the son that I am, I wanted nothing but the best for my mother. She had saved for 10 years for a new truck. This truck has a lot of options, actually everything except side airbags, sunroof and navigation. It has leather, 6 cd changer, heated seats, two driver memory recall, compass mirror, XM, ONSTAR, fog lights, a driver information center that is very helpful and steering wheel controls. This truck had the center console (some offer a seat, or a console- so you have options). This one came with tinted windows, dual aftermarket exhaust and all weather heavy duty GM floor mats. We drove this truck from Texas to Oregon, and it got almost 22mpg highway all the way there. It averages about 14-16 city. Its easy to drive this truck fast, because its fun and sharp looking. Yes, these trucks are fairly common, but that’s because they are very reliable. After 2200 mile trip, it was still comfortable, and fun to drive. It also came standard with a trailer/tow package, and could easily haul practically anything. It does have kind of a bouncy suspension, however it is a soft yet firm ride. Great ground clearance as well.
