Pros Many attachments, Great Instructions, Durable Machine.
Cons None that I have noticed after 4 yrs of sewing.
Recommended it? Yes

I bought this 19233 in 2007, it was my 1st electronic sewing machine. I'm currently teaching my adult daughter to sew.  She lives in another state, so I need her to have a Good, Solid machine to use, that won't let her down.

I've had this machine for a bout a year or more now and I can tell you it was easy to use write out of the box. Pros Quiet! Instruction booklet very detailed. Many attachments!
Cons Can be intimidating for the beginner or a non-computer type person.
Recommended it? Yes

Pros Only paid $300 at Sears in december
Cons The box shows embroidered letters in cursive, this machine does not do cursive letters.
Recommended it? Yes

I don't really know how good or bad this machine is because it's the first sewing machine I have ever had. It has a drop in bobbin, I don't know what other kinds of bobbin's there are but its super easy to load. Threading the top is kind of complex but I think it's complex on any machine.
