18 Wheeler: American Pro Trucker: "What an Idea..What an Incredibly Stupid Idea."
Right now Sega's got trying to cash in on this weird phase the Japanese people are in, namely taking stuff from American life, and adding their own Japanese touches to it. This works out good because right now, Japanese stuff in the US is cool. So, they've got this weird cycle going where they... Read full review »
Breaker 19
Looks like we got us a convoy. Anyone remember that song by C.W.McCall? Well, this game is about as accurate a portrayal of truck driving as that song was. Take it from me, I spent the better part of the last 20 years driving a big rig. So, what is this game? Lets fire up that big diesel and hit... Read full review »
18 Wheeler : "I'm the best dang trucker in the US of A!"
18 Wheeler : two words that, to me, indicate everything you need to know about this game. That is : stay away! Whoever came up with that name should be shot. I can't remember the game being very popular in the arcade, and I'm sure their sales on the PS2, Dreamcast, etc. are similarly poor.

18 Wheeler (GameCube) 5/10
In ?18 Wheeler? you are the driver of a long-haul semi-truck pulling a trailer with various sorts of freight. You must drive across the United States through four varied courses, trying to beat a rival rig while dodging cars, buildings and other obstacles along the way. If you think this sounds a... 18 Wheeler American Pro Trucker For GameCube
What started out as a good game on the Sega Dreamcast, is just slight above average on the GameCube. What has been added to take advantage of the GameCube hardware? Well, absolutely nothing! Just like Crazy Taxi before it, the graphics were left the exact same way as on the Dreamcast. And there are... Read full review »
Very Good Trucker game and intense.
If you played the arcade game its the exact same thing but theres an added parking mode and time trial mode. The graphics are the same as crazy taxi and crazy taxi 2. You can pick what you want to deliver and you get a certain price for it. I loved this game. I like trucks and i found this game... Read full review »
18 Wheeler: Another Innovative Sega Title
This is yet another great arcade port from the masters at Sega. Although it's not perfect, it's pretty darn good. The point of the game is simple (as are most arcade games): drive your big rig across the country and get your cargo to the goal within the time limit.

10-4 good buddy.
Leave it to Sega to release the first video game where you do nothing but drive a Big Rig. Nobody else is quite that eccentric. Lucky for us we now get a chance to crush little cars by driving way too fast in an 18 wheeler. Oh the joy.
Gameplay
5/10
Crazy Taxi it isn't. Whereas...

18 Wheeler American Pro Trucker
Even if you're not the type to bleat out the 1975 hit "Convoy" over a CB radio, you'll probably still get the sweats thinking about racing with 20 tons of cargo pushing your rig. Choose between four 18-wheel trucks, and then ride against rival truckers and the clock as you try to deliver your payload intact and on time. The game offers 20 stages on the way from New York to San Francisco, as well as four play modes: Arcade, Parking Challenge, Score Attack, and Versus. Eighteen Wheeler is compatible with separately sold steering-wheel controllers.
