We do not recommend "Relamping" or in other words not reuse your original plastic lamp enclosure with a new lamp/bulb for a number of reasons : 1. The high temperature plastic becomes brittle when exposed to high temperatures over time (lamps run at over 1,000 degrees). Many times the original lamp enclosure plastic breaks or parts break off when trying to replace the lamp/bulb in the mounting lamp enclosure housing. 2. You might miss align the lamp/bulb in the mounting lamp enclosure housing and cause a focus and alignment problem with the light engine. This will reduce brightness and cause image obscurity. 3.
