Pre-Historical Inaccuracy
If you've seen "Apocalypto," there's really no need for you to see "10,000 BC." Both movies have hapless villagers, a young hero in love with a damsel in distress, evil slave raiders, pyramids and boats. The principal difference is that the boats appear earlier in "10,000 BC," which also steals... Read full review »
10,000 BC stands for "Bad Choice"
I like fantasies and enjoy seeing CGI critters run around on screen, the bigger the better. The trailer for this flick implied I'd get to view mammoths, saber-toothed cats, and (I hoped) many more prehistoric beasts you normally only see as bones dug up from La Brea tarpits. I didn't even really... Read full review »
One You Won't Have a Problem Skipping
This movie was one of those my husband and I watched only becuase we really wanted to see a movie. Not because we particularly wanted to see it or heard good things about it. It's one that I would skip in the future, and I wouldn't recommend to anyone else unless you just want to see some good... Read full review »
Interesting Pre-Historic Look at Life
What is a man's reputation? And how does that reputation affect a man's son? And what of the various prophesies and signs that can be found are a mix of a man?
10,000 BC takes the viewer back to prehistoric times when mastodons and saber tooth tigers ("spear tooth"). D'Leh's father...

I personally thought this movie was going to be a bust. I WAS WRONG!! I heard so many negative reviews on the tv and radio. I still seemed interested though looking at the previews. I was glad I did.
The main things that I liked about this movie, was that it was a clean movie for kids...

10,000 BC.
I choose to rent 10,000 BC. for $4.99 on ppv "on demand". I watched the previews for 3 movies before choosing 10,000 BC. I almost choose the movie "Untraceable", with Diane Lane, but it seemed like other thrillers I have seen a dozen times. Typically, I enjoy epics with a good story line and good... Read full review »
For all the money spent...surprisingly inept
10,000 B.C. is a sprawling, messy, jaw-dropping, silly, enjoyable bit of forgettable fun. It's the most disposable epic movie I've ever seen. Roland Emmerich, who has brought us fluffy epic fun before with INDEPENDENCE DAY and DAY AFTER TOMORROW, certainly has a grasp on how to bring moments to... Read full review »
