They will work for any bead or pendant item with a hole larger than 1mm and a thickness no more than 5mm. This piece measures approximately 3/8" wide x 3/4" long. The pictures are enlarged to show detail. These bails are very easy to open. Insert the tips of a pair of round nose pliers inside the bail and spread the plier handles apart. Align the hole in the bead with the pegs and "pinch" the bail closed with your fingers.
