Why I like Diablo 2
Pros
Increadibly addicting gameplay, not linear
Cons
Not much
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Awesome action/rpg type game that appeals to people of both genres.
Diablo 2 is an increadibly addictive game which blends a mix of insane arcade action with a very depthful rpg element of weapons, armor and literally everything. What makes Diablo 2 so appealing to me, however, is the fact that you can always play it(and have fun while doing so!)
Diablo 2 is a game where upon every time you load it up, you'll encounter new creatures and find new items. It is almost like an arcade game in that aspect -- It's like throwing in a quarter and getting to play for however long and enjoy yourself.
Diablo 2 is an rpg-action at heart, however. You visit towns, you enter dungeons, caves, castles and encounter all kinds of monsters you can slash and destroy. There are 5 classes in Diablo 2 -- Paladin, Barbarian, Amazon, Sorceress and Necromancer. The way each of the classes plays out guarentees literally 5 different games and since the game really never ends, I guess you could say this game could last forever. It is fun and if you throw in the fact that you play it online... wow, does this game really ever end?
