Very Cool Game!
Pros
great graphics, challenging
Cons
i haven't found any
Recommended it?
Yes
When my husband's friend first brought over this game I was very skeptical about it and put off trying to play for probably about two weeks. My husband was really into the game and would play it constantly, so I finally decided to try it. Well, it's been about a month now and I am loving it!
System Requirements
First of all let me tell you that you can play usually only play this in single player mode but there is the option of playing with a friend who's on a separate computer. There are more requirements for the multiplayer mode, so I'll list them separately.
Single Player Mode
*Windows 2000, 95, 98 and NT 4.0 Service Pack 5
*Pentium 233 or equivalent
*32 MB RAM
*600 MB available hard drive space
*4x CD-ROM drive
*DirectX compatible video card
MutiPlayer Mode
*64 MB RAM
*900 MB hard drive space
*28.8 Kbps or faster modem
Why do I like it?
Well the graphics are very good really. The characters almost look like real people. The animation is so good that they almost look like real beings moving around on your computer screen.
Another thing is the challenge. Some games are just too easy to beat so you get bored with them before you get very far into the game. Well this one isn't like that. It's very challenging without being too difficult. I really like this kind of thing in a game and I'm sure there are a lot of people out there that are the same way.
At first, I thought that this would be a lot like Quake in the gore factor. That's part of the reason I hesitated in trying it but it's really not too bad. You do get to see some blood but no guts or anything like that. This may disappoint some people but I'm still sure there are other people that feel the same about this as I do too.
What's the game about?
Well Diablo comes back to earth to try to destroy all of human life and you have to try to stop him. You can pick from 5 different characters to do this. As you go along you'll have different things that you have to do to proceed, like finding a lost object or killing a certain beast. Also as you go along, you earn points and when you get enough points, you get stronger and can become better with certain skills. Skills depend on the character.
Recommendation?
Anyone who likes a good role playing/fighting game will like this one. I'd tell anyone to just try it and see and they'll be hooked just like we are.
