I BEAT DIABLO!!

Pros More quests, better equipment, better character building
Cons can't reload your game. all decisions are final
Recommended it? Yes
If you like intense graphics, and realistic audio, and the noblest of quests, then Diablo II is for you. I first started playing Diablo a few years ago and loved it right from the start. I loved the graphics and the basic feel of the game. There were just a few things though that I would have changed. So now Blizzard has made those changes and has come back better than ever.
The first thing that is the biggest change is the fact that once you have cleared a level you can now save it and restart and that level will be full of beastie again, thus allowing you to gain more experience points during the course of the game. So you truely have more control over how well your character is built by the time you face the all mighty nasty one. This also affects the way that you save the game. Rather than just saving the game at any time any where, and then returning to that same place when you returned, now you have to plan your saves a little more. You have to plan to do what ever quest your in the middle of from the start next time you play. This is due to the refreshing of the monsters and the quest fields. Its a good trade off though.
The second change is a stash box. You have to keep your stuff in a box rather than just throw it on the ground like in Diablo I. Again, this is due to the fact that the game resets every time you save the game. But this feature allows you to have more stash space in multi-play games.
The third change to the game is that there are now what is called slotted weapons. You collect these stones and insert them into the weapon and it increases the power of the weapon, or the defense of armor, or some special ability to the item. It really depends on what stone you put in which type of item. This is where that flexibility comes in as to how you want to build your character.
There is also a choice in how you want to build your characters skills and weaponry. Each character has their own unique set of skills, but you get to develope these skill into three different branches, or all three if you choose. Each time your characters skill level rises you get to place one point on an existing skill or on a new one, and new skills become available as your character grows.
Another major change in this game is that when you die you don't just get to reload your game. There are consequences of death in this new Diablo. You have to make it back to your body to retrieve your armor and weapons. And what ever gold you have on you at the time of death is gone, a price of death if you will. I suggest leaving your gold in your stash box. Since you can not reload your game here you have to make certain of any choices that you make, cause once they are done, that's it. No changing it.

All in all I would say that this games far exceeds my hopes of what it would be. It is a great game. Each level is unique to such a point that you never get bored with it. The monsters are works of art. Diablo himself is as impressive as ever. And the movie sequences between levels are just awesome to watch. I would suggest this game to people of all ages. Enjoy......
Karen :)
