Diablo II in my opinion is game of the year, game of next year, and even the year after that. It's just that good. The vast wilderness to discover and the excellent graphics are just the beginning to what makes this game excellent.
I bought this game because it was the next in line after Diablo I. I loved Diablo I so much because of its replay value that I just had to have the sequel. Since I bought Diablo II, I have had no disappointment, well besides when I die. Diablo II also has a excellent replay value that is equal to or better that Diablo I's.
The games comes charging in with a choice between five character classes. You choose between a Barbarian, a Sorceress, a Paladin, a Necromancer, and an Amazon. All the character have 30 skills that are unique to them.
The game is extremely easy to play. It's is very similar to Diablo I. Movement along with attacking is very simple, point and click, and you can hot-key just about every thing else. The game also has an easy to use navigation bar on the bottom of the screen.
As for the graphics, they are absolutely stunning. I was blown away when I first saw. I saw it on the box, but we all know that you can't always go by what you see on the box of all games. This was not the case with Diablo II. You can choose between 2D and 3D mode, and well, 3D mode is just awesome. The lighting effects in the game are spectactular. The detail of enemies as well as your character are great. The appearance of your character changes by what you are wearing.
All I can say about this game is if you don't already have you are missing out on one of the greatest games to date and for years to come. Go buy it!
