The MULTITORQTM system can be used with sockets, extensions, universal joints, ratcheting drivers or any of these combined. PC statistical analysis output: Down load histogram, minimum & maximum reading, mean, sigma N, sigma, CP, Cpk, % error, number of readings under & over tolerance. Serial Port Interface with computer or printer: True RS-232 communications port for downloading to computer or serial printer. Also configurable to Mitutoyo statistical printer protocol. Smart sensor: "Plug-and-Play" build-in EEPROM memory chip that stores sensor indetification & calibration factors. Factory calibrated, a sensor retains its accuracy with all Multitorqtm meters, just plug in the desired sensor. Periodic re-calibration is necessary. Data acquisition: Store and recall up to 3500 readings. An internal memory backup battery retains setup and last memory data for up to ten years. ROTARY SOCKET TRANSDUCERS: Rotary Socket Transducers can be mated to Multitorq offering dynamic torque verification. These sturdy transducers measure torque bi-directionally and are especially suited for displaying the output torque of stall/clutch- type power tool ( no impact or pulse type tools ). Four models available suited for RPM's of 1000 or less. Accuracy = +/- 1 % bi-directionally from 10-100 % of full scale. VISUAL & AUDIO CUES: Analog bar graph at top of display provides a live indication of applied torque. An OVER warning flag comes on to indicate maximum sensor range has been exceeded. Green MIN LED indicated lower tolerance has been achieved and a RED MAX LED indicates upper tolerance has been exceeded. Audio alarm produces a distinctive 2KHz tone. Audio output jack provided for optional head phoned in a noisy environment.
