Portable photometers provide fast and accurate photometric measurements and integrated pH measurements with automatic temperature compensation. Model 80094-540 measures turbidity in addition to pH and photometric measurement. Photometers are ideal for multi-parameter field applications including environmental monitoring, water treatement, beverage industry, wine industry, and process control. Units feature an optical system that works with a combination of LED and filters of varying wavelengths. Model 80094-538 has filters with wavelengths of 436, 517, 557, 594, 610, and 690nm for photometric measurements; model 80094-540 has filters with wavelengths of 436, 517, 557, 594, 610, 690, and 860nm. Low power consumption allows these instruments to take more than 3000 measurements between battery change or recharge. Adjustable cuvette receptacle accommodates 16mm and 28mm cuvettes. Instruments have three pH autocalibration points; model 80094-540 additionally offers three turbidity calibration points (0.2, 10, and 1000NTU). Both units store 100 user-defined methods and 1000 data sets and feature a backlit display automatic power-off and RS-232 interface. Four AA batteries or the rechargeable battery pack (80094-542) are required for operation. The LabStation docking station (80094-544) converts the portable, field units into a benchtop instrument by providing constant power supply and the capability to be used with a barcode reader. The LabStation includes a rechargeable battery pack with a universal plug; the rechargeable battery pack (80094-542) may also be ordered separately. Photometers are waterproof to IP67 specifications.
