On 1990-1996 Nissan 300zx's that are lowered significantly, the stock outer tie rod ends can bind and snap or bend the tie rods. The SPL outer tie rod ends have more articulation angle than stock tie rod ends, and have adjustable spacers to move the outer tie rod end lower to eliminate binding. When combined with the SPL pro front lower arms, the SPL outer tie rod ends can also be adjusted to correct bump steer that results from lowering and modified front lower arm geometry. SPL has been improving the strength of the tie rod ends since they first released this product over 2 years ago, to take the abuse of drifting as sudden steering lock places a lot of stress on the outer tie rod ends. With each improvement, customers have been given free updates to their outer tie rod ends, as SPL's commitment to offering the highest quality and safest suspension products. Features that distinguish SPL Parts outer tie rod ends from our competitors: *SPL's unique design allows for easy bumpsteer adjustment in 0.3" increments, allowing for up to a +1" shift of the pivot point from the stock location. This offers much greater adjustment than any other aftermarket outer tie rod ends. The bumpsteer spacers are integral to the design and reinforce the shank under bending loads.
