Black resin from the local "Lak" tree is applied for a fine finish and then the piece receives a seven-layer coat of lacquer. The total time taken to lovingly create this peace is two months. This unique tray makes a wonderful gift for weddings, housewarmings and other special occasions. For indoor use only. This tray was carved from exotic mango wood native to the Golden Triangle region of Northern Thailand. It was made in family studio by native village artisans in Ban Twai.
