VC Tar 2 uses the latest technology to provide a smooth, self-leveling below the waterline primer that provides a good water barrier for protection from osmotic blisters, as well as part of a blister repair system on fiberglass hulls. VC Tar 2 is also an excellent anticorrosive primer for use on all underwater metals, including bronze, stainless steel, lead, cast iron and aluminum. VC Tar 2 is the recommended primer for use under VC17m thin film Teflon antifouling paints, because it can be applied smoother than other types of epoxy and that means that sanding time is greatly reduced or eliminated.
