Exhaust gases evacuate the cylinder completely, allowing the new charge to come into the cylinder, thereby creating more power. The actual horsepower increase depends upon the fuel management system's ability to provide the right amount of fuel to match the extra air flow, but generally 7 to 15% increases are typical. BORLA's exhaust systems are built of aircraft-quality T-304 stainless steel.
